dbmt delivers on new reward & recognition programme for Yodel
Marketing communications agency dbmt recently won a 4-way pitch to operate the employee reward and recognition programme for new parcel delivery company Yodel*.
Yodel is the new corporate identity for parcel delivery companies Home Delivery Network and the domestic B2B and B2C businesses of DHL Domestic (UK) Limited and is set to become one of the biggest brands in the home delivery business, employing in excess of 10,000 staff, with delivery volumes second only to the Royal Mail.
Yodel Managing Director, Jonathan Smith said: "When dbmt came to present ideas to us for our new colleague reward and recognition programme we were blown away by their creativity and how quickly they engaged with and interpreted our objectives."
The programme, rolled out by dbmt during November 2010, enables colleagues across all parts of the business, from delivery drivers to office-based administrative staff, to nominate individuals or teams whose day-to-day behaviour embodies any of the six Yodel values. It incorporates a dedicated website for nominations and programme communications, branded display and merchandise, rewards, events and incentive travel.
David Bottrill, Managing Director at dbmt commented "We're delighted to have been appointed by Yodel and are excited at the prospect of helping them grow the brand, embed their values and achieve their mission to be their customers' ideal partner."
*Home Delivery Network Limited purchased through its subsidiary company Parcelpoint Limited the domestic B2B and B2C businesses of DHL Domestic (UK) Limited. The new corporate identity for HDN and Parcelpoint will be Yodel.
